A two-year, workforce-focused post-secondary program covering network defense, vulnerability management, security operations, and the changing threat landscape, including AI. Coursework follows Florida DOE frameworks and prepares students for certifications such as Cisco CCST Cybersecurity and CompTIA Security+.

Program highlights

• “Shift Change at the SOC”: A half-day, tiered SOC-analyst simulation on the Huntress Managed EDR/SIEM platform. New students work as Tier 1 analysts and returning students as Tier 2 as they move through detection, response, and containment.
• CyberRange: Hands-on attack-and-defense practice, funded by a Champions for Learning grant.
• AI and security: Covers LLM-driven threats, adversarial ML, AI-assisted monitoring, and the responsible use of AI.
