A post-secondary CTE program aligned to the Florida DOE curriculum framework for Y100200 — Computer Systems & Information Technology. Students build hardware, operating system, networking, and IT support skills and earn industry certifications funded through Florida’s CAPE program, including CompTIA Tech+ and A+, Cisco CCST IT Support and Networking, and AWS Cloud Practitioner.

Program highlights

• Student-run tech support business: Up to 45 students repair equipment and support real clients in a structured lab.
• Modular network trainers: Returning students work through a sequenced library of hands-on networking labs, pulling the equipment each lab needs.
• Industrial networking: A six-lab sequence on the Amatrol Skill Boss Logistics trainer covers everything from system orientation to VFD/PLC network configuration and managed-switch work.
• AI Innovation Lab: AI extension labs that bring AI devices onto the industrial network as managed assets.
• IT Pathway Diagnostic: An interest-and-aptitude assessment that matches students to IT career paths and the certifications that lead to them.
